![]() ![]() Quatre + Illganeau's spell seems like a really spicy OTK though. Illganeau and Iceschillendrig could be helpful as a late game back-up plan, but Illganeau's nerf made the 20 destroyed followers threshold a bit harder to hit, so I definitely still need to test if they're viable options. Karula is also a great card by itself and gets to evolve for free with his enhance, so running him along with some generic float cards like Focus and Phantom Blade Wielder could also work. We've seen how powerful Stringmaster can be these past few weeks, so running him, some cheap puppet generators and Fieran could be one way to go. Along with these, 3x Resolve of the Fallen and 3x Ameth seem like obvious inclusions.įor the rest of the deck, it seems like a good idea to use what's left of Rally Portal, which despite getting hit by Illganeau's nerf, lost basically nothing with VC rotating out. ![]() Spinnah is a fairly cheap auto-evolve and has the benefit of being playable turn 2, but I don't think it's as useful as the other ones - still worth running 2 or 3 though. Sylvia is great at stopping early aggression, Vyrm can trigger Resonance and help you hit your Eternals sooner, Puppeteer is a good "manual" evolve target and gives you another evolve on a puppet - I would run 3x of those. In terms of deckbuilding, you'll want to run 3x of both the Eternals, as well as a lot of auto-evolve cards, of which there's quite a lot to choose from. With good draws, you can get your (basically) 2 card OTK active by turn 8, which is quite impressive. Portalcraft can rack up evos surprisingly well due to having quite a few auto-evolve cards, namely Spinnah, Courageous Puppeteer, Sylvia, and the neutral Vyrm. The most exciting new deck for Portalcraft seems to be the Evolve build, based on hitting Quatre and Esse's 15 evolves threshold as soon as possible.
